Dr. Abushanab earned his DMD from Temple University in Philadelphia and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Rutgers University Hospital in Newark, where he now returns as part-time faculty teaching dental students and OMS residents. He provides the full scope of the specialty — from dental implants and wisdom tooth removal to full-arch (All-on-X) rehabilitation and corrective jaw surgery — and has volunteered on international humanitarian surgical missions in Hebron, Bangladesh, and the Dominican Republic.
