After obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University School of Dentistry, Dr. Awadallah completed a one-year residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Kings County Hospital Center, focusing on exodontia, pre-prosthetic surgery, and pathological biopsies.
He followed this with a general surgery residency at SUNY Downstate, focusing on pre- and post-operative general surgery, plastic surgery, critical care, and trauma surgery. Dr. Awadallah began his training with a two-year residency at Kings County Hospital Center, focusing on oral and maxillofacial surgeries, orthognathic surgeries, intravenous sedation, and wisdom teeth exodontia.
Dr. Awadallah served as a teaching faculty member at Weill Cornell Medicine/North York State Presbyterian. He was also the Section Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the VA Hospital in New Jersey, where his work with veterans profoundly affected him.
