Making your oral surgery affordable and accessible
Understanding insurance coverage for oral surgery can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already anxious about an upcoming procedure. At Warren Oral Surgery Group, we work with a wide range of dental and medical insurance plans to help make your care as affordable and stress-free as possible. Our team handles the details of insurance verification and claims processing, so you can focus on your oral health rather than paperwork.
Warren Oral Surgery Group participates with multiple dental and medical insurance carriers to accommodate patients throughout Warren Township and surrounding Somerset County communities. We understand that every insurance plan has different coverage levels and benefits, which is why our knowledgeable staff takes the time to verify your specific coverage before your appointment. This proactive approach helps you understand your out-of-pocket costs upfront, eliminating surprise bills after your procedure.
Our practice accepts a comprehensive list of dental insurance plans, including Aetna (PPO only), Ameritas, Assurant, Cigna (PPO only), DeltaCare USA DHMO/Flagship, Delta Dental from all states, Empire BCBS, Fidelio, GEHA, Guardian PPO, Horizon DHMO and PPO plans, Humana, Lincoln Financial, Principal, United Concordia, United Healthcare including the Community Plan, and MetLife (PPO only). We also work with medical insurance carriers such as Aetna PPO, Ameri Health Care, Cigna, Horizon HMO/PPO/Federal plans, Oxford, Qualcare, United Healthcare, Humana, UMR, and Meritain Health. This extensive network means most patients can use their existing insurance benefits when receiving care at our practice.
Warren Oral Surgery Group proudly serves patients with Medicare Advantage dental plans and union benefit programs. We recognize that teachers, firefighters, police officers, transit workers, and other union members often have excellent dental benefits through their employers. Our practice works with union-affiliated plans including those offered through organizations like Union 1199 and the MTA, which provide strong out-of-network benefits for oral surgery procedures.
Medicare patients should know that traditional Medicare typically does not cover routine dental care, but Medicare Advantage plans often include dental benefits that can help cover oral surgery procedures. We recently added United Healthcare Community Plan to our accepted insurance list, recognizing the growing number of patients who rely on this coverage. Our staff stays current with Medicare Advantage plan changes and can help you understand what your specific plan covers for procedures like dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, and other oral surgery services.
Many of our patients with union benefits appreciate that oral surgery practices like ours often have better out-of-network benefits compared to general dental procedures. This means even if we’re not directly contracted with your specific union plan, you may still receive significant coverage for your care. We encourage union members to contact our office so we can verify your specific benefits and provide an accurate estimate of your costs.
