Dr. Mohammed Erakat was born in San Franscico CA and raised in the Bay Area. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of California, San Diego where he obtained his BS in Microbiology in 2001.

He then attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he obtained his DMD and took an interest in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  After dental school he attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry at New Jersey where he completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency.  During this time he also obtained his Medical Doctorate from the New Jersey Medical School and completed a one year internship in general surgery.

During residency, he was given the unique opportunity of participating in mulitple medical missions in third world countries with Healing the Children.  The trips involved treating both children and adults with cleft lip and cleft palate deformities.

Dr. Erakat's surgical interests include a full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with focus on New Teeth in a Day/ All on 4 Implant Solutions, facial cosmetic treatments including Botox and dermal fillers and orthognathic surgery for congenital deformities.

His personal interests include weightlifting, sports, reading and spending time with his family.
